About Lyle Woodward C.E.T., CKBD
Owner of Strongwood Construction Inc.
Lyle was born and raised in Medicine Hat and graduated from high school in French immersion with honors. He spent a year at the Medicine Hat College in pre-med and played on the Rattler’s Men’s basketball team. He served a mission in Montreal for two years. Upon returning he studied Construction Engineering at NAIT in Edmonton, where he graduated with a 3.95 GPA.
He has worked as a project manager and estimator for a large commercial construction company and residential renovation company. He moved back to Medicine Hat in 2013 where Strongwood Construction was born.
From humble beginnings in Dad’s garage with a family van, Lyle grew the company, eventually catching the eye of Home Depot, who brought the company on board for their kitchen cabinet installations and Renuit Cabinet Refacing programs. Lyle has expanded Strongwood Construction to a 4000 sq. ft. office, showroom, and shop in the light industrial area.
